VERSATILITY

The Model 220 is a beautifully compact package offering driver comfort, easy service, entry safety features and vigorous power. The 220 is available with a GVW of 26,000-33,000 lbs. Designed for driver productivity, the Model 220 features 360-degree visibility, superior maneuverability, rugged protection and convenient storage. With low chassis weight, it’s perfect for high-volume payloads while the standard Allison automatic transmission and air disc brakes help to provide a comfortable driver experience. The 220 is ideal for pickup and delivery as well as beverage and refuse applications, and it is now available in a right-hand drive configuration for street sweepers and paint striper operations.

PROVEN DURABILITY. SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE.

The 6.7-liter PACCAR PX-7 Engine delivers superior performance, minimizes operational costs and maximizes uptime for medium-duty customers. Reduced maintenance, long service intervals and excellent fuel efficiency add up to a superior lifetime value. For the Model 220, the PACCAR PX-7 is available in horsepower ratings from 200 to 260hp and offers up to 660 lb-ft of torque.

EASE OF USE

With an extremely tight turning radius, the 220 readily tackles tight spaces and masters difficult maneuvers. Service checks are easy – the front panel opens for quick access to the air filter, coolant, refrigerant, washer fluid, power-steering fluid and engine oil.

INTERIORS

The spacious Model 220 interior features a wrap-around dash with a driver information display and a multi-functional steering wheel. An in-mold process embeds color directly onto the dash for a long-lasting finish, virtually eliminating fading, scratching and peeling. The cab provides ample storage, including overhead and rear-wall compartments behind the seats.

VISIBILITY AND ERGONOMICS

An expansive windshield gives drivers an unobstructed view of their surroundings, ideal for urban environments. Extra-large side windows and heated mirrors provide optimal visibility even when the weather is less than hospitable. Entry and exit are safe and easy with stair-style steps with non-slip treads. Ergonomically positioned doors open a wide 90 degrees.
